RESFEST : Québec Gold 2006

Nature Morte is selected for RESFEST 2006.

RESFEST Montreal is proud to present the first Quebec competition of short films entitled: Québec Gold. It is a selection of outstanding recent works by the most promising artists and filmmakers in Quebec. Short film is proper and serious filmmaking, as well as, the beginning of a vision, a voice and a career. If we had to rely on the talent of the 11 filmmakers in this competition, it would be safe to say that Quebec cinema will stay healthy a very long time.

Competition jury includes: François Avard, Ramachandra Borchar, Anne-Marie Cadieux, Stéphane Lapointe et Jean-Marc Vallée.

The competition winner will receive The PHI Award for artistic merit of $1000, plus postproduction services valued at $5000 from the NFB’s Filmmakers Assistance Program (FAP).
